Potato Leek

This Potato Leek is simply divine. A thick puree with small chunks of potato and the perfect balance of leeks for that elusive leek flavor. Serve it with bread for a hearty winter meal, or pair it with a salad for a light summer lunch.

New England Clam Chowder

Our Potato Leek is halfway to a homemade New England clam chowder! Just add 5 oz of canned baby clams, 1 Tbsp. of clam juice, 2 strips of crumbled bacon, 2 Tbsp. of sherry and a ½ tsp. of Worcestershire to one container of Potato Leek soup. Heat on medium-low to let flavors mingle and serve once hot. Great when cold weather rolls around! Serve with a New Zealand Chardonnay.

Potato Leek with Flank Steak

This one is for fans of meat-and-potatoes! Marinate or dry rub a flank steak using your favorite recipe and grill to desired temperature. Remove the steak from the grill and tent with foil. While the meat is resting, throw some thick onion slices on the grill, turning once. Pour heated Potato Leek in a bowl and toss in bits of chopped steak and top with grilled onion rings. Pair with Shiraz.

Potato Leek with Rotisserie Chicken and Fennel

Pairing smoky ingredients with potatoes is hard to beat. Sauté ½ cup diced fennel root in butter and add a dash of black pepper. Meanwhile shred some rotisserie chicken and add it to the fennel for a minute or two. Then toss the fennel mixture into the heated Potato Leek soup. Smoky, rich goodness! Pair with Robola.

Vichyssoise

Our humble Potato Leek moonlights as an elegant, cool vichyssoise! Perfect as a starter course or a satisfying meal, take the chill off of the soup by letting it stand at room temperature for 20 minutes and then add fresh, chopped watercress. Pair with Pinot Gris.

Potato Leek with Broccoli and Bacon

Steam broccoli florets (about 1/2 cup per bowl) until tender. Arrange broccoli on the bottom of a large, soup bowl and sprinkle with crumbled bacon or crisped pancetta, then fill the bowl with hot Potato Leek soup. Top with some shredded smoky Gouda for an irresistible dish! Pair with Cabernet Sauvignon.
