Green Pea with Dill and Grilled Portabella Mushroom

Portabella mushrooms are a great substitute for meat on the grill and seasoning them is simple. First, heat the grill to medium. Drizzle mushrooms with extra virgin olive oil and salt and pepper, then grill for 5 minutes per side. Before removing cooked mushrooms from the grill, break some feta pieces over the top and let the cheese soften a little. Serve the mushrooms alongside a warm bowl of Green Pea with Dill. Pair with Pinot Noir.

Green Pea with Dill and Cucumber Sandwiches

Cut some French bread, spreading butter on each piece. Then top each piece with thick, peeled cucumber slices. Serve open-faced or create a whole sandwich and dip in a warm bowl of Green Pea with Dill! Pair with a white Burgundy.

Green Pea with Dill and Quiche

Nothing is easier than opening a container of soup, heating it up and pairing it with a slice of quiche. Most prepared food sections in your local market carry a nice selection of quiches. You can’t go wrong with the options available, from a sundried tomato, or asparagus with cheddar to the traditional ham and swiss quiche. Pair with Chablis.

Green Pea with Dill and Garlic Croutons

Our Green Pea with Dill is a fresh departure from traditional split pea soup. The rich and hearty texture calls for something light and crunchy, like garlic croutons. Simply pick up a bag of your favorite brand or soak some stale bread in melted garlic butter, scatter on a cookie sheet and bake 10-15 min at 375 degrees. Then top each serving with the croutons and serve. Pair with Riesling.

Green Pea with Dill and Caesar Salad

Soup and salad is a great combination that requires very little preparation. A head of crisp romaine with Caesar dressing, some croutons and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese makes a Caesar salad that goes well with a hot bowl of Green Pea with Dill soup. Pair with Chardonnay or Gamay.

The Green Pea with Dill reminds me of the split pea that my mom used to make. I love it!
